Course content includes; - Conforming to General Health, Safety and Welfare in the Workplace; Confirming Work Activities and Resources for an Occupational Work Area in the Workplace; Confirming the Occupational Method of Work in the Workplace; Installing Bespoke First Fixing Components in the Workplace; Installing Bespoke Second Fixing Components in the Workplace; Developing and Maintaining Good Occupational Working Relationships in the Workplace; Setting Up and Using Transportable Cutting and Shaping Machines in the Workplace; Erecting Structural Carcassing Components in the Workplace; Erecting Roof Structure Carcassing Components in the Workplace; Maintaining Non-structural and structural Components in the Workplace.

This is a standalone full NVQ level 3 that will be delivered via OSAT (On Site Assessment & Training) route. All the practical elements of the course will be assessed on site, however some of the theory element (State, Describe, Explain) will be delivered at college as evening class provision. There are three elements to this course: Building a portfolio of evidence; On site observations of the candidate; Classroom sessions for group and one to one support
